The good God has constantly been good even at this point in time, when COVID-19 has limited us from having our life chapter and school system running smoothly, things are no longer the same. Though COVID-19 might be a heavy burden on the world, we should remember that, it is not the weight of a burden that breaks us but how we carry it. I will say that the best way to carry it is by listening to all government instructions, especially from the heads, the leaders, so that we all can be protected. Least I forget, the sisters (religious), should be protected also, because they have got strength of thousand armies and magnifies thousand smile. So, let us protect ourselves so that we can protect others. Read more

Sisters and Associates from Enugu Zone

With gratitude to our good God, Enugu zone celebrates the 217th anniversary of the Foundation Day of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The simple and beautiful celebration began with the Holy Mass during which, Sisters and Associates who have made their final commitment renewed their vows. During the homily, the priest encouraged us to renew our passion for love and help one another live life to the full in the community.

After the mass, we had a beautiful reception. Sr. Annette gave us a talk on “service “. She calls us to a humanitarian service and challenges us to always think of the next person. Associate Morris also gave us words of encouragement on ” facing challenges “ after which we ate, drank and danced to the glory of God. It was such a simple but rich celebration.
