Sr. Christiana Sidi, SNDdeN speaking at the workshop in Akwunanaw, Enugu State.

On the 16th of December, 2019; the Education Director, Sr. Christiana Sidi, SNDdeN gave a day workshop to the staff of Notre Dame Nursery/Primary School and Notre Dame Academy, Akwunanaw, Enugu State. The theme of the workshop is “The Congregation and our learning community”. Her presentation was very Educative and informative. She told them about the Characteristics and Hallmarks of Notre Dame learning community.

She also made them to understand that education is more than a profession. It is a work of faith to make God known to the children we are forming. She added that our mission as educators is to lead the children to salvation by teaching them to know and love God. The staff appreciated Sr. Sidi and one of them suggested that we do more in helping the students to discover who they are, as self discovery is one of the keys to success. May God continue to strengthen you, Sr. Sidi in your ministry.
