With gratitude to our good God, Enugu zone celebrates the 217th anniversary of the Foundation Day of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The simple and beautiful celebration began with the Holy Mass during which, Sisters and Associates who have made their final commitment renewed their vows. During the homily, the priest encouraged us to renew our passion for love and help one another live life to the full in the community.
After the mass, we had a beautiful reception. Sr. Annette gave us a talk on “service “. She calls us to a humanitarian service and challenges us to always think of the next person. Associate Morris also gave us words of encouragement on ” facing challenges “ after which we ate, drank and danced to the glory of God. It was such a simple but rich celebration.
